Case Study: Jacksonville, FL

St. Johns Riverfront

Overlooking the St. Johns River, this customer did not want to have any window coverings to block their view. However, on the east bank of the river in San Marco, the sunsets were too bright and heated the entire house, running the A/C without stopping.

SPF Sun Control installed SolarGard Stainless Steel
window film, which reduced the glare, filtered out 53% of
the total solar energy, and perfected this clients view.

Because there are no blinds or shades on this customers windows, the Stainless Steel was selected for its low interior reflectivity to avoid the "mirror-like" appearance at night-time which would hinder a view out, and is typical of aluminum based window films.
