Case Study: St. Augustine, FL --

Southwestern facing windows on this St. Johns Golf and Country home made the residents hot and uncomfortable. To complement the coral colored exterior and to offer the best possible heat rejection at a high light level, we selected a Soft Bronze window film.


SPF Sun Control installed Madico's SB-341 window film, which rejects a stunning 66% of the sun's total solar energy, is low in reflectivity for a metallized window film. Because the film allows 40% of the light to pour through the windows, the home remains very bright inside, but without excessive glare.

This film has a soft, muted copper color with a light shimmer. The 40% light transmission makes it approprate for use in neighborhoods with homeowner's associations, since it is not dark or mirrored like other window films.
